How to Speak Noir

Sometimes last year, I stumbled upon this clip on YouTube, and I really enjoyed it. Only later, did I discover this is a trailer from an actual film, Hotel Noir.

I’ll say the truth, I didn’t watch the film, because as I googled around in search of info about it, I discovered basically nobody liked it. Pity too, because the idea sounds cool:

This slight tale tracks Felix, a detective holed up in a room at the Biltmore in 1958 Los Angeles, awaiting his death at the hands of gunmen. In the lobby, bar and hallways, Felix meets other characters, all with reasons of their own for being there.
